The world meeting was, as always, incredibly loud and somewhat annoying. Germany had given up hope in getting some sense to the people. Your (e/c) eyes wandered around the room and you couldn't help but feel slightly amused.

In what other meeting would there be a man making pasta, one is sleeping, two are fighting for God-knows-what reasons and everyone else were shouting to get their voice heard.

Though soon you noticed that you weren't the only one amused by this comical scene. Russia, also known as Ivan Braginski, had a small child-like smile on his face. He was completely relaxed, leaning back in his chair, watching as the chaos before him continued to expand.

He must have felt you eyes on him because soon he locked his gaze to you. His small smile widened to something quite creepy looking and you nervously smiled to him before slumping down lower in your chair.

-Dude, you okay?, America asked worriedly. -Yeah I'm fine, you assured him. America looked at you for a moment before shrugging and looking back to England who was nagging at him.

You were grateful for America. He was always there, ready to help. He had even helped your country when it was going through some rough times. He was like a brother to you... -Privet (country name).

You yelped in surprise when you felt a hand on your shoulder. You looked up, I mean really up, and saw Russia smiling down to you. Though his smile looked kind, there was an unsettling aura surrounding him.

-Um... hi Russia! How are you, on this lovely day?, you asked, your heart hammering against your chest. Russia's smile widened again and he gently petted your hair. -Stol' krasivyj(1)..., Russia mumbled.

-Yo commie! Hands off!, America shouted suddenly, making everyone in the room look your way. Russia removed his hand from your head like it had burned him. -So annoying, so petty, so loud, Russia said through gritted teeth and turned to glare at him.

The huge clock on the wall rang, declaring the meeting over. You sighed in relief, Russia and America wouldn't get to strangle each other today. Russia sneered at the American and stormed out of the door before anyone else. The Baltics were shivering in fear, probably scared about how they would be treated when they went home.

*Timeskip brought to you by... His royal awesomeness, Prussia!*

You took a sip of your coffee and turned a new page in your book. It was finally Saturday, time for relaxing. It was 11 am so you were surprised when your phone rang. You quickly pushed some (h/c) hair out of the way and answered.

-Hello?

-Dude!! You gotta come at my house, I got this new game and it's so awesome! Please~, Alfred whined at the phone. (A/N:You are allowed to use human names outside the world meeting!)

-Sure, I'll be there in a minute, you said and closed your phone. After changing out of your pajamas and into something more suitable, you grabbed your keys and head out.

Thankfully, Alfred didn't live that far away from your house so it was only a 10 minute walk there. You were too busy checking your bag that you didn't notice someone and bumped into them.

-Umph! Oh, sorry... Ivan? What are you doing here?, you asked with a puzzled expression. The tall Russian man's frown turned into a smile when he saw you. -I was just out for a walk. But what is little (Name) doing here?, he asked sweetly.

-I'm going to Alfred's house. He got some new game and he... h-he, you stuttered and froze in terror. Ivan's face had gone from kind to murderous in a second. -Da... Games are much fun. Maybe you want to play with me sometimes?, he asked. You just nodded quickly. -It was nice talking to you but I have to go now, bye!, you whimpered and ran off.

Ivan watched you go and grinned, something no one had seen him do in years. -On Amerikanec... Stol' dosadnyj(2), he sighed and continued walking away.

*Another timeskip*

-America? How are you here so early, there's still 15 minutes before the meeting, you asked him. You were walking towards the meeting room when you saw him leaning against the door. -Well I thought it would be a nice change if I was on time, America said with a smirk. You chuckled.

-Is the door locked?   -Yeah but as far as I know, Germany will be here any minute so we'll get in, America pondered. Speak of the devil, you thought as Germany stepped out of the elevator. -Nice to see that you're on time America. Morning (country name), he greeted politely. -Morning Germany, you greeted back.

Germany swiftly unlocked the door and they walked in, ready to find their seats. -Dóbroje útro(3) (country name)!, came a voice. All three turned to see Russia, smiling at them from his chair. -G-good morning Russia. How are you already here?, you asked with a hint of panic in your voice.

-The door wasn't locked so I decided to come in and wait for others, he said casually. You glanced at America who seemed to be wondering if he should punch Russia.

The meeting started soon after and you were having a nice conversation with England and America. The seat next to you though was empty and from the corner of your eye, you could see Russia moving to sit in it.

America was just talking about some big baseball game he had been in when Russia decided to interrupt. -America, you talk like a child. You talk about games, heroes and stories that are not real. Are you a man at all?, he taunted him bluntly. You and England stared at him with your jaws hanging open.

Russia smiled innocently before quickly glancing at you, then continued. -You are just a child! You haven't seen what I have and you do not know nearly as much as I do. So inexperienced... Tell me America, if you had a woman in your bedroom, would you know what to do?

All the nations were now silently watching Russia and America who was gritting his teeth. -Of course I would! I'm not some teenager!, America spat at him. Suddenly, it was dead silent and everyone held their breaths.

Russia had gotten up and slowly took off his gloves. He walked towards America who prepared himself to fight. Russia stopped right in front of him, leaned down to his ear, and whispered.

America's face went from it's natural tan to a sick-looking white. Russia grinned. He straightened up again, looking down at America with a smile. America looked like he was having trouble breathing.

Russia calmly went back to get his gloves and turned to look at you. -Lûbimyj(4) (Name), I would be very happy if you could join me for dinner tonight, he said. You opened your mouth to say something but nothing came out.

-In my house, dinner is served at 8 pm. I will be waiting for you, Russia said with his usual childish smile and left the meeting room. After a moment of silence, the room broke into an unbelievably loud chatter and shouting.

You snapped out of your thoughts and rushed to America. -Are you okay?! America!, you shook him and he blinked. He didn't say anything, just shook his head before grabbing a rubbish bin and vomiting in it...

*Timeskip by... Flying unicorns*

You were nervously fidgeting with your fingers while pacing back and forth in your room. You were genuinely frightened about going to Ivan's house. Sure he had always dislikes Alfred but he had never actually said anything to him.

It was 7.30 pm now so you took your keys and your coat, pulled your hair into a ponytail and headed outside where the rain was falling harshly to the ground. You wondered if Ivan's sisters would also be there because if they were, you should have taken a knife with you...

As you got closer to his home, you realized that you had never actually seen it. You walked around a corner and came to a halt. It wasn't a house, more like a mansion. He must be quite lonely living there, even with the Baltics around, you thought briefly.

You raised your hand to knock on the door but it opened before you could do so. Ivan's face came to your view as he looked at you. -I saw you coming from the peephole. Please, come in, he said and stepped aside.

Ivan took your coat and you let your gaze wander around the walls which were filled with painting and other art. -Do you like them?, he suddenly asked. You were quite impressed by his collection so you nodded.

He placed a hand on your shoulder and guided you to the dining room. The Baltics were standing there and poor Latvia was shaking terribly. You gave them a reassuring smile and took a seat at the table.

Ivan snapped his fingers and the Baltics rushed around, filling both of yours glasses and placing a small bowl of soup in front of you. It smelled delicious and you hummed in delight. -Fish soup, my family's own recipe, Ivan said before tasting it carefully.

You took a taste of it and smiled. It was slightly creamy and the fish came out just right. -It's very good, you said, continuing to eat the soup. Ivan smiled widely and took a sip from his glass, probably vodka.

The small bowl was soon empty and you contently licked your spoon before placing it down. Ivan was looking at you with satisfaction and snapped his fingers again. -Estonia, bring the main course and some more vodka, da?

The main course was meat stew with big chunks of potatoes and other vegetables. You smelled a hint of red wine from the stew.
-Prijátnovo appetíta(5), Ivan said. You tucked right in, snatching a piece of meat with your fork.

-(Name), you spend much time with America. Is he... good company?, Ivan asked with a changed tone, his purple eyes locked to you. You quickly swallowed. -Oh yes, he's fun to be with though he can be very loud and clueless sometimes, you said. You wondered for a moment why you were so comfortable with him now but you shrugged it off.

-He's not a real man, Ivan said, keeping his eyes on his stew. You glanced at him before answering. -He's just as much of a man as any of the other nations, you said and heard his fork clang against the plate.

Ivan was looking at you like you had gone crazy. -Are you with him? In a non-friend way?, he asked with blank face. Your eyes widened and you couldn't help but laugh a little. -No! For goodness sake, he's like a brother to me. I could never see him that way!, you said with a smile.

You looked at Ivan with a tiny grin playing on your lips. -You know, you're not nearly as scary as I thought you would be now that I'm here, you said. Ivan stared at you for a moment before letting out a deep, hearty laugh that echoed in the dining room.

He held his stomach and eventually calmed down, wiping the corner of his eye. -That's very nice to hear (Name). I never meant to look scary to you, he said. You smiled nervously and ruffled your ponytail. Ivan eyed it for awhile before getting up from his chair.

He walked behind you, gently taking hold of your wrists and moved your hands to your lap. Ivan ran his fingers through your messy ponytail, his fingers reaching for the elastic band and pulling it away. Your (h/c) hair cascaded down your shoulders, framing your face almost perfectly.

Ivan smiled and moved back to his chair like nothing had happened. -I like your hair when it's not bound. It looks very beautiful, he said. You blushed and started eating again instead of answering to his compliment.

BANG!

A loud kick was heard from the front door. Ivan got up, looking extremely angry. -(NAME)! I'm gonna save you from that commie, don't worry! IVAN! If you touch her I'll steal your vodka!, Alfred's voice shouted from outside. -Zjelob(6)... Ivan growled when the door broke down.

Soon Alfred marched into the dining room, his face all red. He saw you and hurried to your side. -Don't worry, he's not gonna hurt you!, he scrambled with words and held your face with both hands. -Alfred, what are you doing? I'm just having dinner with Ivan, you said. You got a sudden flashback of the meeting where Ivan whispered to his ear.

-He's a psychopath, always has been! He's a no-good... -ZATKNIS' NA HUI(7)!!, Ivan roared. You both freeze, turning to look at Ivan who was breathing heavily and looks more angry than ever before. His eyes turned from cold purple to blazing fire.

Psychopath is a word that Ivan can't stand. Everyone knew that. The Russian male stomped closer to Alfred, glaring daggers through him.
-Do you have any idea, how much I despise you right now?, he asked with a dangerous voice.

Alfred began to realize that he shouldn't have said that. Ivan closed his eyes for a moment, huffing through his nose. He was obviously trying to stop himself from doing anything irreversible. You looked at both men and hesitantly placed a hand on Ivan's arm.

-Ivan... Please don't be angry. I'm sure he didn't mean it, you said. He tensed but soon relaxed, letting out a heavy sigh. -Yes he did... and I want him out of my house now. He has no idea what I have been through in my lifetime and yes, my sanity may sometimes waver but I am not a psychopath! I can feel sympathy just as much as you can!, Ivan yelled, pointing an accusing finger towards Alfred.

Alfred stared at Ivan, unable to say anything to him. Ivan sighed and put on his usual smile. -The food's getting cold. It would be better for you to leave, he said with a nod towards the door.

You looked at Alfred and gave him a quick smile, making him awkwardly scratch his neck. -So... call me tonight (Name), okay?, he said and left. Ivan glanced at you and sat down again. -It's a shame. The stew is now cold, he mumbled and pushed his plate away.

-

Estonia quickly took the plates and rushed away. You sighed and took a sip from your drink. It felt like the mood had crashed completely. You glanced at the clock which was now 9.43 pm. -It's getting late, I should go home, you said hesitantly.

-That's not possible, Ivan said and pointed outside. The wind was banging against the windows and a storm was clearly making it's way here. Ivan suddenly smiled to you and got up. -I would be a terrible host if I didn't offer to let you stay, he said, taking your hand and leading you upstairs.

Ivan's heart started beating faster when he led you to his bedroom. Pictures flashing in his mind about his secret fantasies... -Why did you bring me here?, you asked timidly. Ivan blinked and turned to you.

-To give you clothes to sleep in, dorogoj(8), he answered with a small grin playing on his lips. He pulled out one of his shirts from the closet and showed it to you. A nice clean white shirt... He was so tall that the shirt would surely go to your knees.

*Timeskip of you changing your clothes*

You hesitantly stepped out of the bathroom with Ivan's shirt hanging on your body. It did indeed reach your knees and even went a little past them. Ivan was sitting in an armchair, waiting for you to come. When he saw you enter the room, he was sure that his heart stopped. The sight of you wearing his shirt...

-Ivan? Are you okay?, you asked. -What? Yes! I'm fine, he quickly said and averted his eyes to the floor. You unconsciously tugged the hem of the shirt. -There's a guestroom opposite mine so if you want to sleep there it's all yours, Ivan said and gave you bed sheets and a pillow. -Thanks, you mumbled and quickly hurried to the room, shutting the door behind you.

Why on Earth is my heart beating so fast?!, you though with frustration. The way he had looked at you send your mind in a frenzy but you swiftly got rid of such thoughts.

While you were pondering over your newly discovered feelings, Ivan was lying in his bed. He already knew that he loved you, he knew how much you meant to him. He unconsciously reached out his hand, imagining how he would glide his fingers over your skin...

He quickly drew back his hand, clenching it into a fist. Gritting his teeth, he got up from his bed and walked behind your door. After hesitating for a minute, he knocked.

You fumbled out of bed and opened the door. Your mouth formed a little ''o'' when you saw Ivan. -Hey... what is it?, you asked. Ivan didn't say anything, just took your hand and started pulling you to his bedroom. -I-Ivan?! What are you doing?

He laid you on his bed, threw the covers over you and climbed in himself. You stayed very, very still, being unsure how to react to a situation like this. Ivan's breathing had become heavier. You slowly turned your head to look at him. -Is something wrong?, you asked. He shook his head and roughly pulled you closer so your back was touching his chest. -Lonely..., he muttered.

*Timeskip to morning!*

Ivan opened his eyes and lifted a hand to shield them from the light coming from his windows. He moved his other hand and felt something warm. He looked to his side, seeing his hand stroking your thigh. This is exactly what I need, he thought with a small smile. He rolled to his side, letting his eyes wander over your body that was still clad in his shirt.

You sighed and a tiny frown appeared to your face. Ivan grinned, sliding a finger over the frown. Your eyes fluttered open and widened when you saw Ivan. His hand was still stroking gently your thigh.

You shot up with a scream and ended up falling on the floor. -(Name), are you okay?, Ivan asked innocently. You fiercely pulled at the hem of the shirt to cover your thighs. You looked up to him with a blush, remembering how he had pulled you to his chest and mumbled to your ear.

Ivan took your hand and pulled you back up, setting you on the bed with a serious expression on his face. -You shouldn't be scared of me. I would never harm you and you know that, he said coldly. You sighed, shaking your head.

-I'm not scared. I just forgot that I was in the same bed with you... No wonder it didn't get cold at night, you mumbled the last part. Ivan smiled and crawled to the edge of your bed side. Even sitting down he made you look quite small.

You glanced up to him and felt your stomach whine about it's emptiness. -Maybe some breakfast?, you suggested. Ivan chuckled and nodded.

Ivan insisted that as a host, he would make the breakfast and you would sit down and wait. It was a simple yet satisfying breakfast, consisting of boiled eggs, toast, cereal and coffee. You gave a content sigh after taking the first sip from your coffee.

You looked at Ivan who was also drinking coffee and reading a newspaper. The whole situation felt so familiar and comfortable that it felt like you were home. Like it had always been this way...

Ivan glanced at you and smiled. -This feels very nice, doesn't it (Name)?, he asked. You nodded. He took a leg of your chair and yanked your chair closer to his. He fought from grinning like an idiot. -Much better, he said and went back to reading the news.

-You're lonely, you stated and took a bite from your toast. Ivan flinched, putting down his coffee and newspaper. -You miss the times when your house used to be full of people and life. Now it's you and the Baltics but they're not your friends and that makes you lonely, you said confidently while looking straight to his eyes.

Ivan swallowed and looked at his plate which had a half-eaten egg on it. -No one ever says that to me. They know it but they never say it, he said coarsely.

-Well if you want to, I could visit you from time to time and I could...Mmph!, you were caged into a bear hug by Ivan's strong arms. He nearly squeezed all air out of your lungs with his hug but he soon let go. He stared into your eyes with an expression that you couldn't quite understand.

-Prekrasno(9) (Name)... You have no idea how much that means to me, Ivan said. He pressed a gentle kiss on your forehead, letting his lips hover over your skin for a while. You smiled and got up.

-Thank you for breakfast Ivan. It was really nice, you said politely. He looked at you with a childish pout and shot up from his chair. -Are you leaving now?, he asked worriedly.

You nodded and went to get your coat. Ivan followed you to the front door, watching nervously as you took your bag. You stopped when you saw the sad look in his eyes and sighed.

-You'll come back tomorrow, da?, he asked and fidgeted with his fingers. -Of course I will! And when I come here, you can give the Baltics a day off. I will make your dinner, you told him.

You stood on your tiptoes and gave Ivan a kiss on the cheek. He smiled widely and gave you one as well, only that he had to bend down to do it.  You nodded firmly and went off, to the chilly morning air.

-Bye bye (Name)... Bye bye...
